THE STORY OF US.
Biotech Builders is an informal and independent networking organization for entrepreneurs and business professionals in the life science industry.
We were first initiated in Denmark, 2002, by Dr Jørgen Thorball an early morning at Copenhagen Airport. The news about the dying Biotech industry called for action to energize the entrepreneurs and bring new life to the industry. Dr Thorball invited the leading life science companies to initiate the first Biotech Builders event. In this playful and inspiring environment, company founders, visionaries, venture capitalist and CEOs had the opportunity to network and exchange ideas. In 2009 the event was brought to Sweden and has since been held annually in Stockholm. It has been a great success and much appreciated among the participating people. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic no event was held in 2020-2021.
