What challenges and opportunities do we currently see in the industry?

Sweden's scientific output is world-class, yet a persistent gap remains between discovery and commercialisation. The single biggest challenge is access to risk capital: too many promising companies struggle to secure the funding needed to move from research to market. Stronger investment in leadership development and structured pathways for international executive talent would go a long way to addressing this.

What is currently at the top of our company’s agenda?

Finding executives with a proven track record in capital raising, partnering, and licensing. As the Swedish life sciences sector matures, the demand for true dealmakers (people who have navigated complex transactions and built the commercial relationships that take a company to the next level) is at an all-time high. This is where we are focusing our energy right now.
